May 5, 2016
The Friends of Army
Aviation took ownership of the very first T41 Airplane used as a trainer for
the United States Army. The Cessna T-41 Mescalero is a military version of the
popular Cessna 172, operated by the United States Air Force and Army as well as
the armed forces of various other countries as a pilot training aircraft.
Pictured with the airplane is Mayor Billy Blackwell, City of Ozark, General
David Allen and John Holladay
(Doc) both representing the Friends of Army Aviation. Ozark Airport - Blackwell
Field is exciting to be its new home.
